For those who use computers regularly, keeping in touch has never been so easy - or overwhelming. Emails, appointments, to do lists and the ever growing address book demand attention.
Outlook combines all these in one and after following this course you'll have a good grasp of what it can offer you. You'll learn how to organise and prioritise emails, set up calendar appointments and reminders, master the to do list and organise your address book.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to get more out of Outlook, whether a new or self taught user. By the end of it, you'll have a good grasp of using the software and some timesaving shortcuts.
What does it cover?
Beginning with general email skills, we progress to the calendar, making one off and repeating appointments for both ourselves and for others, then moving onto managing contacts in the address book, creating mailing groups, filtering and mail merge skills. Tasks are considered next, again both on a personal and then group level, finishing with creating notes to replace the endless PostIt notes!
How long is it?
This course is offered as a 1 day session, with practice time at the end.
Where is it run?
On your premises or via one of the training centres I use. To run successfully on your premises, we need a network connection between the training computers, and preferably operating using Exchange Server to allow calendar sharing.
