So once the camera is covered where next? Well the next step is tackling the computer. Fortunately the software you need is freely available. Whilst you could use the CD that came with the camera, a simpler alternative (in my opinion anyway!) is Google's Picasa. This is a free program with which to download, catalogue and apply simple edits to your photos.
Who is this for?
This is designed for anyone using a digital camera who wants a straightforward way to copy pictures from their camera to the computer, and manage them once this is done.
What does it cover?
Starting from connecting the camera to the computer, each step of the way is covered in detail so that copying pictures becomes second nature. Once this is done, then you move onto using Picasa for managing and cataloging the pictures, along with simple editing techniques. you'll also learn how to print photos, all using one piece of software!
Not only do you get to cover Picasa, but I also introduce Photoscape, again a free program, which provides complimentary features to those of Picasa.
How long is it?
1 day or can be split into several sessions if required
